SOMPAD is in the process of establishing a specialized hub for incubating practical approaches to individual, organizational and societal challenges. This hub will provide opportunity to upcoming Agriculture/ climate change projects, Psycho-social recovery, Dialogue and Reconciliation, Development and rehabilitation of affected Communities and persons, Peace Education, Health, W.A.S.H, Resilience projects, Food Security, Economic Development and Sustainable Livelihoods, Social Services & Protection, Humanitarian Mine Action Projects, Support to Women & Girls, Peace-Building & Governance including other development initiatives for students, elders, government and organizational novices to exchange ideas, innovate solutions to societal challenges. This hub will integrate innovative IT/web-based, online learning with face-to-face opportunities to interact with organization’s finest. An outreach program that seeks to establish collaboration with institutions of higher learning in Somalia is currently being designed. This outreach program will initially cover the whole of Somalia and other neighboring countries.
